Modern Slavery is a very real epidemic happening within our communities. It is our passion to raise help raise awareness. Over 25 million precious people are victims annually, from children as young as 7 years old to men and women in their later years. Modern slavery has no limitations regarding who and what age, this could happen to anyone.
This crime is hidden in plain sight, right on our doorsteps. Car washes, nail bars, industry, care professions, fishing businesses and the sex trade are only a few examples of where it is happening. We need to be aware of it!
Our greatest weapon to fight against this horrendous crime is information. With it we can support victims, recognise the indicators and report safely to professional organistions, who can then rescue those trapped in slavery.
