Befriending and mentoring

Helping individuals with compassion

Through home visits, phone support, and group activities, we help individuals find meaningful connections, overcoming isolation and building lasting friendships.

Creating lasting connections

Our befriending and mentoring services are designed to bring companionship and emotional support to those experiencing isolation. Through consistent home visits, phone calls, and group interactions, we aim to provide a trusted presence that fosters connection, improves wellbeing, and helps individuals feel valued and understood.

How we can help

Telephone Befriending

Our volunteers offer regular phone calls to provide friendly conversation and emotional support. These calls help combat loneliness and provide a reliable source of companionship and encouragement.

1-1 Befriending

Volunteers visit individuals to offer face-to-face companionship and practical support. This personalised interaction helps reduce social isolation and provides emotional assistance.

Mentoring

Mentoring involves developing a long-term relationship with a mentor who provides personalised support and helps create and implement a plan for achieving personal goals.

Coaching

Coaching provides goal-oriented, one-to-one sessions for those dealing with life transitions or seeking employment. Typically, coaching lasts around 10 sessions and offers practical advice and guidance.
