Join our catering team and help create a warm, welcoming space at Elmfield Hall’s tearoom. As a Catering Volunteer, you’ll assist with serving customers, preparing simple food items, and ensuring the kitchen and tearoom stay clean and organised.

This role is perfect for anyone who enjoys working with people and wants to make a real difference in the community. No prior experience is needed, but a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is preferred—if you don’t have one, we’ll provide the necessary training to get you started.

Catering volunteers play a key role in the daily operations of our tearoom at Elmfield Hall. From welcoming customers to assisting with food preparation and maintaining hygiene standards, your help ensures a warm and friendly experience for everyone.

Role details

As a Catering Volunteer, you’ll assist with serving customers, handling basic food prep, and keeping the kitchen and tearoom clean and organized. Volunteers must follow food safety and hygiene procedures, and ideally, hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate. If you don’t have this qualification, training will be provided.
